Vidal Sassoon (1928-2012)

Remembering the man who revolutionized the hairdressing world.

vidal-postBeauty Industry legend Vidal Sassoon died last month at the age of 84. For over 50 years, the name Sassoon has been synonymous with cutting-edge hair design.

Sassoon’s visionary style and pioneering work led him to create the Modern Bob, Five-Point Cut, Asymmetric Cut, Graduated Angle Cut, and many more famous styles and shapes.

His sharp, short haircuts defined hair for the entire 1960’s generation right alongside mini-skirts and go-go boots!

Vidal Sassoon was the first hairdresser to launch a global product line. He appeared in many of his own TV commercials with the famous line – “If you don’t look good, we don’t look good”.

Sassoon was, without a doubt, the most influential hairdresser of the 20th Century. He will be missed.
