Contestants entered from some of the nation’s leading schools such as Empire, Paul Mitchell, and Aveda, underscoring Kianna’s exceptional skill and dedication.
What is the Intercoiffure Student Contest?
The Intercoiffure Student Contest is one of the most respected competitions in the beauty education world. Each year, students from across North America submit their creative work, hoping to be recognized as an Intercoiffure Student Contest finalist. The 2024 theme, Sustainability, challenged participants to create special-occasion hairstyles that reflect both artistry and environmental awareness. Finalists are chosen by a panel of artistic directors from Intercoiffure America, Canada, and Pivot Point International, based on creativity, technical skill, and interpretation of the theme.
